TO SUPPORT, ADVANCE, AND DEVELOP PACIFIC ISLAND MEDIA CONTENT AND TALENT THAT ENHANCES PUBLIC RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR PACIFIC ISLANDER HISTORY, CULTURE AND SOCIETY.

DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, PIC CONTINUED TO AMPLIFY NATIVE HAWAIIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER (NHPI) VOICES THAT ENRICH AMERICA'S CULTURAL LANDSCAPE THROUGH THE ART OF STORYTELLING. WE ARE THE ONLY ORGANIZATION IN THE COUNTRY THAT DOES THIS BY DEVELOPING, PRODUCING, AND FUNDING FILMS, AS WELL AS PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO EMERGING FILMMAKERS, AND ENGAGING AUDIENCES THROUGH PUBLIC MEDIA DISTRIBUTION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SCREENINGS.
