DURING THE YEAR, MAUI AIDS FOUNDATION PROVIDED AN ARRAY OF PREVENTION, CARE AND HOUSING SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF MAUI COUNTY AND HOUSING SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF THE NEIGHBOR ISLANDS WHO WERE INFECTED OR AFFECTED BY HIV/AIDS. SERVICES INCLUDED CASE MANAGEMENT, PRIMARY CARE ACCESS AND AFFORDABILITY, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, FOOD PANTRY, HYGIENE SUPPLIES, RENT SUPPORT, TARGETED OUTREACH, TESTING FOR PERSONS AT RISK FOR INFECTION AND COMMUNITY-WIDE AWARENESS-RAISING. 178 PERSONS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS RECEIVED CARE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, 1,609 WERE TESTED FOR HIV, HCV, SYPHILIS AND GONORRHEA, AND 110 PERSONS RECEIVED LONG AND SHORT-TERM RENT SUPPORT.
