SEAGULL'S STUDENT ENROLLMENT STABILIZED DURING THE SECOND YEAR OF THE PANDEMIC WITH FIVE EARLY EDUCATION CENTERS OPERATING AT ABOUT 75% OF OVERALL LICENSED CAPACITY. FINANCIALLY, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO DID VERY WELL TO SECURE A SECOND PPP LOAN WHICH WE CONVERTED TO A GRANT AND SECURING ALMOST $3M IN FEDERAL ARPA FUNDING. THE COMBINATION OF LOANS AND GRANTS HAS HELPED RESTORE THE EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND HAS PUT THE ORGANIZATION ON MORE SOLID FOOTING. SEAGULL SCHOOLS ALSO CONTINUES TO BE A LEADER IN THE EARLY EDUCATION SECTOR IN HAWAII, TAKING A LEAD ROLE ON THE STATE'S EARLY LEARNING BOARD, CHILDCARE BUSINESS COALITION AND IS A REGULAR SUPPORTER OF OTHER NON-PROFITS IN EARLY EDUCATION.
