THIS YEAR'S CONVENTION WAS THE FIRST IN-PERSON EVENT POST-PANDEMIC, SO MORE EXPENSE WAS INCURRED DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE EVENT. TOPICS INCLUDED ISSUES RELATED TO PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF HEALTH INFORMATION, MEDICAL CODING AND COMPLIANCE, HIPAA REGULATIONS, AND OTHER HEALTH INFORMATION RELATED TOPICS. ATTENDANCE WAS SOLID FOR THE FIRST IN-PERSON MEETING IN OVER TWO YEARS. WEBINAR AND OTHER ONLINE EDUCATION ATTENDANCE NUMBERS ARE NOT AS HIGH THIS YEAR DUE TO THE SATURATED ONLINE EDUCATION MARKET.
