FOR OVER 20 YEARS THE INTERNATIONAL FAMILIES ASSOCIATION HAS DISTRIBUTED FOOD TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS WITHIN THE GLENDALE CALIFORNIA AREA. FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS ARE MADE TWICE A WEEK AT DESIGNATED LOCATIONS IN THE GLENDALE AREA. THE BULK OF THE FOOD BEING DISTRIBUTED HAS BEEN PROVIDED BY THE LA REGIONAL FOOD BANK. THE ORGANIZATION HISTORICALLY PURCHASES ADDITIONAL FOOD SUCH AS FRESH FRUIT, VEGETABLES, NUTS AND MEATS TO HELP SUPPLEMENT THE FOOD BEING PROVIDED BY THE LA REGIONAL FOOD BANK. THESE ADDITIONAL PURCHASES HAVE TRADITIONALLY BEEN FUNDED BY OUTSIDE DONORS.
