SPONSOR A FAMILY: THE PRIMARY PROGRAM FOR SPONSOR A FAMILY IS TO PROVIDE ITEMS NEEDED FOR SACK FARMING. SACK FARMING ALLOWS SPONSORED POOR FAMILIES TO GROWN CROPS IN A LARGE SACK. 310 FAMILIES WERE PROVIDED SACK FARMING ITEMS IN INDIA, PAKISTAN, UGANDA, KENYA AND TANZANIA. AFGHAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF: MORE THAN 200 CANVAS TENTS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO PROVIDE SHELTER FOR THOSE WHO LOST HOMES DUE TO THE EARTHQUAKE. PAKISTAN FLOOD: PROVIDED RELIEF IN 8 LOCATIONS IN THE FORM OF TENTS, MOSQUITO NETS, WATER AND FOOD SUPPLIES FOR MORE THAN 5,000 PEOPLE. AFGHANISTAN REFUGEE OUTREACH: AFTER US ARMED FORCES LEFT AFGHANISTAN WORLDHARVEST PROVIDED FOOD SUPPLIES AND HOUSING FOR ABOUT 200 FAMILIES. PURCHASED A BUILDING FOR ESTABLISHING A HEALTHCARE AND CHURCH TO SERVE REFUGEES. LAUNCHED A SEA CUCUMBER FARMING VENTURE TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT FOR POOR FAMILIES IN THE EASTERN PART OF INDONESIA. THESE FUNDS OFFER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, HEALTH CARE AND HEALTH-RELATED INSTRUCTION, NUTRITION, LIFE-SKILLS TRAINING, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO HEAR ABOUT AND RESPOND TO THE GOSPEL BY WORKING WITH LOCAL CHURCHES. OUR PROGRAM OFFERS THE SPONSORSHIP OF IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN IN INDONESIA, PAKISTAN, NEPAL, INDIA, AND AFRICA.
