SPEAK UP RESEARCH PROJECT: FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR PERIOD, OVER 50,000 K-12 STUDENTS, TEACHERS, PARENTS, AND ADMINISTRATORS REPRESENTING SCHOOLS IN ALL 50 STATES PARTICIPATED IN THE ANNUAL SPEAK UP PROJECT BY SUBMITTING AN ONLINE SURVEY ABOUT THEIR USE OF TECHNOLOGY WITHIN LEARNING, AND THEIR ASPIRATIONS FOR IMPROVED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE SPEAK UP DATA AND REPORTS ARE USED ANNUALLY TO INFORM NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL POLICIES, PROGRAMS, FUNDING AND PLANS FOR K-12 EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND MATH INSTRUCTION AND TECHNOLOGY USE. ANNUALLY, THE SPEAK UP DATA IS PRESENTED AT OVER 60 EDUCATION AND BUSINESS CONFERENCES AND OVER 2,500 COPIES OF OUR REPORTS WERE DOWNLOADED FROM OUR WEBSITE AND THE WEBSITES OF OUR PARTNERS.
