IN 2017, WE PROVIDED FOOD TO AN AVERAGE PER MONTH OF 43,509 POOR, DISTRESSED AND UNDERPRIVILEGED PEOPLE WITH THE HELP OF 10 VOLUNTEERS AND 30 GROUPS AND CHURCHES WHO DISTRIBUTE TO THE NEEDY IN CALIFORNIA'S ANTELOPE VALLEY. SOMMER HAVEN ALSO PROVIDED TRUCKLOADS OF CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND OFFICE SUPPLIES.WE HELD A FOOD DISTRIBUTION SEMINAR FOR OUR DISTRIBUTORS, TEACHING HOW TO HANDLE AND DISTRIBUTE FOOD SAFELY AND IN WAYS THAT PRESERVE FRESHNESS.
