TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPEMENT OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES RESIDING AT MISSION PLAZA AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY THE MISSION OF MPTA IS TO EMPOWER AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE LOW INCOME FAMILIES RESIDING AT MISSION PLAZA AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY BY: 1) ENSURING MISSION PLAZA IS OPERATED AND MAINTAINED AS DECENT, SAFE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES, 2) SERVING AS THE MANAGING GENERAL PARTNER OF THE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP THAT OWNS MISSION PLAZA AND TO FULFILL ALL THE RESPONSIBILITIES AS MANAGING GENERAL PARTNER OF THE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
