ACHESC DELIVERED TIMELY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND NETWORKING EVENTS ACROSS VENTURA SANTA BARBARA LOS ANGELES ORANGE AND RIVERSIDE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTIES MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS. WE SUPPORT HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS WITH: RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMING ON CURRENT HEALTHCARE TRENDS AND BEST PRACTICES PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
COLLEGE BOWL COMPETITION. THE COLLEGE BOWL IS AN ANNUAL ACADEMIC CONTEST FOR GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS THAT ARE PART OF THE ACHE ACHE SOCAL HIGHER EDUCATION NETWORK. THE COLLEGE BOWL BEGAN AS A JEOPARDY-STYLE CONTEST WITH TEAMS ANSWERING QUESTIONS RELATED TO HEALTH CARE POLICY AND MANAGEMENT. THE FORMAT HAS EVOLVED INTO A CASE STUDY COMPETITION. STUDENTS USE THEIR CREATIVITY AND KNOWLEDGE OF HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION TO SOLVE THE CASE STUDY. THE CASE STUDIES REVOLVE AROUND REAL ISSUES FACED BY HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVES AND THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. STUDENTS ARE JUDGED BY THE QUALITY OF THE ANALYSIS AND THEIR PRESENTATION SKILLS.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE: PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR GLOBAL HEALTHCARE ISSUES. ACHESC PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH AN ENRICHING PROGRAM FOCUSED ON KEY TOPICS FACING HEALTHCARE LEADERS TODAY. EXCITING PANELS INCLUDED DISCUSSIONS AROUND THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: SUPPLY CHAIN CYBERSECURITY WORKFORCE AND TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP. AT THIS EVENT PARTICIPANTS MADE IMPORTANT CONNECTIONS DURING THE DAYLONG EVENT NETWORK AT THE POST CONFERENCE RECEPTION.
