HEALTH CAREER CONNECTION, INC. (HCC) IS A CALIFORNIA 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS FOUNDED IN 2003. FOR OVER 30 YEARS, HCC HAS DEMONSTRATED AN UNYIELDING COMMITMENT TO ADVANCING HEALTH WORKFORCE, HEALTH IMPROVEMENT AND HEALTH EQUITY BY INSPIRING AND EMPOWERING OF DIVERSE HEALTH LEADERS AND PROFESSIONALS. THIS COMMITMENT WAS ACTUALIZED THROUGH THE PROVISION OF OVER 400 PAID HEALTH CAREER LAUNCHING OPPORTUNITIES TO COLLEGE STUDENTS, INCORPORATING BOTH THE HCC COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AND THE HEALTH EQUITY SCHOLARS PROGRAM.HCC'S IMPACT IS BOTH FAR-REACHING AND INCLUSIVE, WITH SERVICES EXTENDED ACROSS 11 DIVERSE REGIONS OF THE NATION, INCLUDING NORTHERN, CENTRAL, SOUTHERN, AND COACHELLA VALLEY CALIFORNIA, NEW ENGLAND, NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY, NORTH CAROLINA, WASHINGTON DC/BALTIMORE/VIRGINIA, DETROIT, MINNEAPOLIS, AND CHICAGO. MOREOVER, OVER 60% OF HCC'S STUDENTS ARE BILINGUAL, REINFORCING HCC'S COMMITMENT TO LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE.FROM 2018 TO 2022, HCC HAS DEMONSTRATED REMARKABLE GROWTH IN PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY TO STUDENTS AND PROMOTING HEALTH EQUITY.
