THE ENCINITAS LIBRARY STRIVES TO ENCOURAGE LITERACY, LIFELONG LEARNING AND THE LOVE OF READING THROUGHOUT OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY. TO ENHANCE THE LIBRARYS RESOURCES, INCREASE THE COMMUNITYS ACCESS TO INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE, AND TO PROVIDE A VIBRANT CULTURAL GATHERING PLACE.

50 FOEL VOLUNTEERS OPERATE A BOOKSTORE IN SUPPORT OF THE ENCINITAS LIBRARY THE END RESULT WAS INCREASE IN ONLINE AND BOOKSTORE SALES.


FOEL PARTICIPATED IN THE SD COUNTY LIBRARYS MATCHING FUNDS PROGRAM BY CONTRIBUTING $20,000 OF WHICH THE COUNTY MATCHED FOR THE PURCHASE OF NEW DIGITAL BOOKS.THE LIBRARY PROGRAMS INCLUDED FOOD AND CRAFT, REGULAR PERFORMER AND INSTRUCTOR EVENTS.


FOEL SPONSORED SEVERAL SIGNATURE EVENTS,WHICH INCLUDE POETRY TEACHER STIPEND AND MONTHLY MUSICASL EVENTS
