AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: PROVIDING BEFORE AND AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR DOWNEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT'S TK-8TH GRADE STUDENTS. DFEO'S ACCESS PROGRAM PROVIDES AN ACADEMICALLY ENRICHING, HEALTH-CONSCIOUS, AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT, DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING YOUTH VOICE AND LEADERSHIP, ACTIVE AND ENGAGED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, AND ENHANCING SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL GROWTH OF PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. THE GOAL OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO EXPAND ON ITS MISSION, WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF PREPARING STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS.
