FURTHER ARTISTIC UNDERSTANDING AND FOSTER ARTISTIC GROWTH OF MEMBERS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE

THE GUILD ARRANGES OPPORTUNITES FOR ITS 190 MEMBERS TO SHOW AND SELL THEIR ARTWORK AT A VARIETY OF VENUES IN NEARBY COMMUNITIES AS WELL AS IN THE OFF TRACK GALLERY, WHICH IT OPERATES. THE GUILD ALSO PARTICIPATES IN ART RELATED EVENTS THAT HELP EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE VISUAL ARTS. THE LARGEST EVENT IS THE MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND ART, GARDEN AND STUDIO TOUR. THIS IS A TWO-DAY EVENT THAT FEATURES ABOUT 8-10 HOMES WITH GARDENS FILLED WITH GUILD ARTISTS WORKS ON DISPLAY. ANNUAL ATTENDANCE IS GENERALLY ABOUT 1000-1300 PEOPLE. OTHER EVENTS INCLUDED 4 COMMUNITY ART NIGHT EVENTS, HOSTING RECEPION AND PROVIDING ENTERTAINMENT. HOLD A HOLIDAY BAZAAR ANNUALLY THAT GIVES ARTISTS A CHANCE TO SELL THEIR ORIGINAL ARTWORKS. HOLD WORKSHOPS FOR ARTISTS ON A MONTHLY BASIS


PROVIDE SUPPORT TO LOCAL COMMUNITY, VETERANS AND SCHOOLS TO HELP ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN EDUCATION IN THE ARTS. AWARDED 5 YOUNG ARTISTS WITH WALL SPACE TO DISPLAY THEIR ARTWORK. PROVIDED ART SUPPLIES FOR CHILDREN AT A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER, BOYS & GIRLS CLUB AND PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.
