TO ENCOURAGE THE SPORT OF ROWING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH THE PARTICIPATION, DEVELOPMENT AND COMPETITION OF ITS MEMBERS WITH EVENTS AND PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH, ACTIVE LIFESTYLES & SENSE OF COMMUNITY. DEVELOP AND PREPARE ATHLETES FOR NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION AT THE UNDER-23, PARALYMPIC AND SENIOR LEVELS. USROWING, THE SPORT'S NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY, HAS NAMED LBRA AS A USROWING TRAINING CENTER PARTNER AS OF FEBRUARY 2011. CURRENTLY THERE ARE THREE NATIONAL & OLYMPIC HOPEFUL ATHLETES TRAINING HERE, AT ABOUT 20 HOURS PER WEEK EACH, FREE OF CHARGE.
