THE ROSE CITY ROLLERS MISSION IS TO SERVE WOMEN, GIRLS, AND GENDER- EXPANSIVE INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT TO PLAY THE TEAM SPORT OF ROLLER DERBY, CONNECT WITH AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY, AND REALIZE THEIR POWER BOTH ON SKATES AND OFF.

2022 SAW THE RETURN OF RCR'S FIRST FULL SEASONS OF PLAYING DERBY FOR OUR ADULT HOME TEAMS, RECREATIONAL TEAMS, YOUTH HOME TEAMS, AND YOUTH ALL-STAR TEAMS. WITH UNBELIEVABLE GRANT SUPPORT IN 2022, WE EXECUTED OVER 30 FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS VIA OUR SKATEMOBILE, SERVING 4000+ PEOPLE, WITH A FOCUS ON COMMUNITY PARTNERS SERVING MARGINALIZED POPULATIONS. WE ALSO OFFERED AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR RCR MEMBERS AND ATTENDEES OF ROLLER DERBY SUMMER CAMPS. THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS IN OUR LEAGUE RETURNED TO ABOUT 75% OF PRE-PANDEMIC (400ISH), AND WE ACTIVELY SUPPORTED THE DERBY-VERSE IN THE ROARING RETURN OF ROLLER DERBY. 2022 FELT LIKE A WONDERFULLY SUCCESSFUL YEAR
