KHALSA YOUTH CAMP: A TWO WEEK LONG CAMP FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-12, WHICH EMPHASIZES PRACTICAL ACHIEVEMENT AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS. GROUP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE HIKING, ARTS AND CRAFTS, FIELD TRIPS, SWIMMING, YOGA, MARTIAL ARTS AND MEDITATION. THE CAMP WAS NOT HELD IN 2021 DUE TO THE COIVD-19 PANDEMIC. TEACHING AND SERVICE: THE ORGANIZATION HAS BROUGHT AWARENESS TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND INSPIRED THEM TO LIVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND HOLY LIFE THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF YOGA AND MEDITATION. A NETWORK OF YOGA TEACHERS HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED NATIONWIDE TO COMMUNICATE INFORMATION ON YOGA AND MEDITATION TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. 3HO'S MEMBERSHIP AS A NGO WITHIN THE UN ALSO SPREADS AWARENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE TEACHINGS OF THE ORGANIZATION REACHED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PERSONS.
SOLSTICE - A TEN & EIGHT DAY RETREAT, TWICE A YEAR DURING THE TIME OF THE SUMMER AND WINTER SOLSTICES, PROVIDING TRAINING IN YOGA AND MEDITATION AND A VARIETY OF WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES ON TEACHING YOGA, HEALING, NUMEROLOGY, MUSIC AND DANCING. NO LIVE EVENTS WERE HELD DURING 2021 DUE TO THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC. VIRTUAL EVENTS WERE PRESENTED FREE OF CHARGE IN PLACE OF THESE GATHERINGS.
