THE ASSOCIATION DUES ENTITLE EACH MEMBER TO ONE HOUR OF LEGAL COUNSELFOR ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL MATTER; IN ADDITION, THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDESLEGAL SERVICES FOR DEPUTIES IN MATTERS REGARDING THE ASSOCIATION AS AWHOLE.THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS REGULAR MEMBER AND REPRESENTATIVE MEETINGS ANDSEMINARS AND ISSUES A MONTHLY NEWSPAPER TO INFORM THE DEPUTIES OFCURRENT EVENTS AND TO PROMOTE A SENSE OF PURPOSE AND FELLOWSHIP WITHOTHER POLICE ORGANIZATIONS AND WITHIN THE ASSOCIATION.THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATES THE USE OF VARIOUS INSURANCE PLANS ANDASSISTS ITS MEMBERS IN OBTAINING COVERAGE FOR MEMBERS AND THEIRFAMILIES.THE ASSOCIATION ASSISTS FAMILIES OF OFFICERS WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED ORSERIOUSLY INJURED.
