THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF VENTURA COUNTY PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES TO THE ENTIRE VENTURA COUNTY AREA:CARE AND SHELTER FOR HOMELESS ANIMALS AWAITING ADOPTION, INVESTIGATION OF CASES OF ANIMAL ABUSE AND NEGLECT, EDUCATION PROGRAMS THROUGH PET CARE PRESENTATIONS, MONTHLY VISITS WITH PET-ASSISTED THERAPY PROGRAMS, DISASTER AND RESCUE SERVICES IN EMERGENCIES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MEDICAL CARE AND PET FOOD FOR NEEDY FAMILIES AND QUALITY PET MERCHANDISE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES. THE HUMANE SOCIETY GAVE APPROXIMATELY 98% OF EVERY DOLLAR CONTRIBUTED TO THE PROGRAMS DIRECTLY BENEFITING THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS.
