PROMOTION OF SOCIAL WELFARE BY SPONSORING ACTIVITIES WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR LOCAL CHARITIES.
MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES INCLUDING WEEKLY LUNCH MEETINGS, VIRTUAL MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER ROTARY GROUPS ON A LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL.
BIKE BUILD. THROUGH ONE OF THE CLUB'S FUND RAISER PROJECTS WE RAISED MONEY TO PROVIDE OVER 40 BICYCLES THAT WERE DONATED TO NEEDY CHILDREN. THIS PROJECT INCLUDED WORKING ALONGSIDE STUDENTS FROM THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL TO ASSEMBLE THE BICYCLES. ON SITE SAFETY TIPS PROVIDED BY ONE OF THE LOCAL CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL OFFICERS. DONATED A SHELTER BOX THAT INCLUDED A TENT TO PROVIDE SHELTER TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST HOMES OR IN UNDERSERVED AREAS AND SHELTER KITS CONTAIN TARPAULINS, ROPE, AND ESSENTIAL TOOLS FOR BUILDING OR CLEARING RUBBLE. SHELTER BOXES PROVIDE PEOPLE WITH MORE THAN JUST SHELTER. TENTS ALSO CONTAIN ITEMS LIKE COOKING SETS, SOLAR LIGHTS, BLANKETS, AND ACTIVITY SETS FOR CHILDREN.
