DONATED ITEMS ON THE ORDER OF ABOUT 100,000 BOOKS, VIDEOS, CDS AND MORE A YEAR ARE SOLD THROUGH BOOK SALES, GIVEN TO NONPROFITS AND THE PUBLIC.
CONDUCT PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT THE PALO ALTO LIBRARY, SUCH AS SPONSORING CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS, PURCHASING BOOKS, DVDS AND AUDIO BOOKS, FUNDING THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM, PROVIDING STAFF AWARDS, SUBSCRIBING TO ONLINE DATABASES, OBTAINING NEW PATRON COMPUTERS AND COMPUTER SUPPLIES.
