MUSIC EDUCATION: IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS MISSION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MUSIC EDUCATION TO STUDENTS, PRIMARILY FROM LOW INCOME BACKGROUNDS IN ORDER TO FOSTER MUSICIANSHIP, TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE, RESPONSIBILITY, DISCIPLINE AND OTHER LIFELONG VALUES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS AND OTHER TYPES OF MENTORS ENROLLED IN THE MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM IN ORDER TO HELP FACILITATE AND ESTABLISH A SAFE, NURTURING, SUPPORTIVE, AND FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS.
