THE ORACLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION (OEF) HELPS YOUNG PEOPLE DEVELOP THE TECHNICAL ACUMEN AND CREATIVE CONFIDENCE TO DESIGN OUTSTANDING SOLUTIONS TO PEOPLE'S NEEDS AND THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS. IN OEF'S PROGRAM, STUDENTS WORK ALONGSIDE ORACLE VOLUNTEER COACHES AS THEY ENGAGE IN MULTIDAY CLASSES AT THE INTERSECTION OF DESIGN THINKING, FUTURES THINKING, CODING AND PHYSICAL COMPUTING. USING THESE SKILLS, STUDENTS DEVELOP A PROTOTYPE ADDRESSING DESIGN CHALLENGES IN A VARIETY OF TECHNICAL DOMAINS, SUCH AS EXPERIENTIAL GAME DESIGN, HELLO, CIRCUIT PLAYGROUND!, APP DESIGN, NEURAL NETWORKS, INTERNET OF THINGS, AND 3D DESIGN AND PRODUCTION. IN FY23, ORACLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION HOSTED 14 CLASSES THAT ENGAGED 192 VOLUNTEERS AND 327 STUDENTS.
