THE GOAL OF FORWARD TOGETHERS MOVEMENT BUILDING PROGRAM IS TO ACHIEVE POLICY AND CULTURE-CHANGE VICTORIES THAT SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE RIGHTS, RECOGNITION AND RESOURCES OF WOMEN AND NON-BINARY PEOPLE OF COLOR AND INDIGENOUS PEOPLE ON ISSUES OF FAMILY RECOGNITION, COMMUNITY SAFETY AND HEALTHCARE ACCESS. WE LEVERAGE OUR NATIONAL NETWORK OF OVER 200 STRONG FAMILIES ORGANIZATIONS AND 90,000 INDIVIDUAL SUPPORTERS TO LEAD CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND POLICY ADVOCACY, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, CROSS-SECTOR ALLIANCE BUILDING AND CULTURE-SHIFT PROJECTS IN OUR PRIORITY STATES OF NEW MEXICO AND OREGON, AS WELL AS IN MULTIPLE OTHER STATES AND NATIONALLY IN COLLABORATION WITH GRASSROOTS PARTNERS.
