Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

FIX OUR FERALS (DBA ANIMAL FIX CLINIC) PROVIDES AFFORDABLE, EXCELLENT QUALITY SPAY/NEUTER AND OTHER LIFE-SAVING AND LIFE-CHANGING SURGERIES FOR COMPANION DOGS, CATS AND COMMUNITY CATS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2022 THE CLINIC SPAYED/NEUTERED, VACCINATED AND MICROCHIPPED 3,269 COMMUNITY CATS THROUGH TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN (TNR). TO MAKE THIS CARE POSSIBLE FOR THESE UNOWNED FREE-ROAMING CATS, WE SUBSIDIZE THE COST OF CARE BY OVER 68%, CHARGING THE PUBLIC ONLY 45 PER CAT. KEEPING THE COST OF THIS SURGERY AND BASIC CARE FOR THESE CATS ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC IS CRITICAL TO PREVENTING THE BIRTH OF COUNTLESS LITTERS THAT MAY OTHERWISE END UP IN AREA SHELTERS.

IN 2022 THE CLINIC SPAY/NEUTERED, VACCINATED AND MICROCHIPPED 3,668 COMPANION ANIMALS AND PERFORMED 288 LIFE-SAVING OR LIFE-CHANGING SURGERIES FOR CATS & DOGS. WE USE SLIDING-SCALE PRICING FOR SPAY/NEUTER AND PREVENTIVE CARE TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF A SUSTAINABLE PROGRAM THAT ENSURES ONGOING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE VETERINARY SURGERY FOR THOSE THAT CANNOT PAY FULL PRICE. BY COVERING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT LOW-INCOME CLIENTS CAN PAY AND OUR ACTUAL COST, WE ENSURE THAT EVERY CAT AND DOG IN NEED THAT WE CAN HELP HAS ACCESS TO OUR SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THEIR CARETAKERS' ABILITY TO PAY. WE HAVE MADE A COMMITMENT TO NOT TURN AN ANIMAL AWAY IF IT IS A SURGERY WITH WHICH WE CAN HELP.

FULL MISSION STATEMENT: FIX OUR FERALS (DBA ANIMAL FIX CLINIC) PROMOTES AND ACTIVELY SUPPORTS TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN OF COMMUNITY CATS BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE SPAY/NEUTER OPTIONS. THE CLINIC ALSO PROVIDES SPAY/NEUTER AND OTHER LIFE-CHANGING SURGERIES FOR COMPANION ANIMALS AND PETS OF FAMILIES WHO ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD PROHIBITIVE COSTS OF VETERINARY CARE.
