MAKING CONTACT PRODUCES MEDIA THAT ANALYSES CRITICAL SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND SHOWCASES GRASSROOTS SOLUTIONS IN ORDER TO INFORM AND INSPIRE AUDIENCES TO ACTION.OUR WORK HEIGHTENS PUBLIC CONSCIOUSNESS, BROADENS DEBATE ON CRITICAL SOCIAL ISSUES AND ENCOURAGES CIVIC PARTICIPATION, BY GIVING VOICE TO DIVERSE PERSPECTIVES AND OPINIONS UNDERREPRESENTED IN CORPORATE MEDIA. OUR GOAL IS TO PRODUCE MEDIA THAT INFORMS, INSPIRES, AND MOVES PEOPLE TO TAKE ACTION.

IMP SUCCESSFULLY PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED 52 WEEKLY EDITIONS OF OUR RADIO SERIES AND PODCAST. 158 PUBLIC RADIO STATIONS AIRED OUR PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, WITH AN AVERAGE OF 140 STATIONS AIRING IT EVERY WEEK. PODCAST EPISODES WERE DOWNLOADED 76,000 TIMES. WE COMMISSIONED WORK BY 5 FREELANCERS TO AUGMENT THE WORK OF OUR CORE PRODUCERS. CREATED NEW ORGANIZATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS WITH KERNING CULTURES, SELF EVIDENT, AND THE RESPONSE PODCAST. ADDITIONALLY, WE RESTRUCTURED OUR CORE PRODUCTION TEAM TO IMPROVE WORKFLOW AND COLLABORATION, AND UNDERWENT A LEADERSHIP TRANSITION, HIRING JINA CHUNG AS OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN SEPTEMBER 2022.
