SPONSORED VARIOUS WORKSHOPS ON HEALTHCARE, DISABILITY RIGHTS ADVOCATES AND SENIOR LIVING AT NO COST TO THE PARTICIPANTS. EXPENSES PAID FOR INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF AND OTHER MINIMAL CHARGES.
CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE FREMONT OAK GARDENS - A COLLABORATION WITH HUD, THE CITY OF FREMONT AND SATELLITE HOUSING, INC. THIS AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITY FOR SENIORS IS DESIGNED TO SERVE THOSE WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING WITH STATE-OF-ART AMENITIES. DURING THE YEAR, WE PAID FOR CERTAIN AMENITIES FOR THE DEAF AND ELDERLY RESIDENTS, SUCH AS A NEW TELEVISION, DVD, BOOKS AND A BARBAQUE.
