NARIKAS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE WOMENS INDEPENDENCE, ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND WELL-BEING BY HELPING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS WITH ADVOCACY, SUPPORT AND EDUCATION.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HELPLINE: NARIKA SERVES AND EMPOWERS SURVIVIORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. IN 2023, NARIKA SERVED OVER 700 SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE THROUGH OUR CONFIDENTIAL HELPLINE AND CASE MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS OTHER PROGRAMS. NARIKA WORKS CLOSELY WITH OUR COMMUNITY AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL AND HAVE ENGAGED WITH APPROXIMATELY 80 VOLUNTEER IN 2023.


SEED PROGRAM: NARIKAS SELF-EMPOWERMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (SEED) PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO FOSTER ECONOMIC IINDEPENDENCE AND SELF-RELIANCE AMONG SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. HEAL PROGRAM: THE HEALTH, ENRICHMENT & ACCESS TO LIFE SKILLS (HEAL) PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO CREATE A PLATFORM FOR WOMEN TO INTERACT WITH AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER THROUGH WELLNESS AND ENRICHMENT WORKSHOPS.


SUPPORT GROUPS: NARIKA CONDUSCTS VIRTUAL SUPPORT GROUPS, OFFER CONFIDENTIAL, CULTURALLY SENSITIVE SUPPORT FOR SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
