CAMP FROZEN CHOSEN: ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP FOR FAMILY AND CHILDREN WITH GENETIC BLEEDING DISORDERS. THE GOAL OF THIS EVENT IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THOSE WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES, BY PROVIDING THE EXPERIENCE OF CAMP ACTIVITIES, AND PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS TO HELP CHILDREN GAIN SKILLS IN SELF CARE, TEACHING THEM TO HAVE CONTROL AND LIFE SKILLS OVER THEIR MEDICAL CONDITION.
DIRECT PATIENT SERVICES: HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE FOR PREMIUMS, MEDICAL EXPENSES, CLINIC APPOINTMENTS, AND LIVING ASSISTANCE FOR PATIENTS WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS, POST-SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PATIENTS WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS AND NURSE STAFFING FOR PROVIDENCE ALASKA MEDICAL CENTER AND TREATMENT CENTER SUPPORT.
