FOOD BANK: RAINIER VALLEY FOOD BANK IS ONE OF THE BUSIEST FOOD BANKS IN SEATTLE. IN 2021, RVFB DISTRIBUTED 1,362,110 POUNDS OF FOOD TO MORE THAN 154,500 GUESTS. TWICE A WEEK, WE PROVIDE ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOOD, INCLUDING MEAT AND FRESH VEGETABLES, AT OUR FACILITY. WE ALSO DISTRIBUTED FOOD THROUGH HOME DELIVERY, TO GO BAGS FOR THOSE WITHOUT COOKING FACILITIES, AND IN BACKPACKS FOR STUDENTS AT LOCAL SCHOOLS.
RVFB 360 - THE RVFB 360 PROGRAM ASSISTED APPROXIMATELY 180 PEOPLE IN 2021 WITH REFERRALS TO AND ENROLLMENTS IN OUTSIDE PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE THROUGH HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, AND OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES.
