AFTER 18 MONTHS OF SUPPORTING CLIENTS VIRTUALLY THROUGH AN ONLINE SERIES OF WELLNESS WORKSHOPS AND LATER 1-ON-1 TELEHEALTH DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, CMC REOPENED THE CLINIC TO IN-PERSON SERVICES ON OCTOBER 1, 2021, UNDER STRICT COVID-19 PREVENTION PROTOCOLS. THE WELLNESS WORKSHOPS AND 1-ON-1 TELEHEALTH WERE MAINTAINED TO SERVE THOSE WHO WERE NOT READY AND/OR ABLE TO COME INTO THE CLINIC. OVERALL, CMC PROVIDED 270 ONLINE WORKSHOPS, AND SERVED 165 UNIQUE CLIENTS IN A TOTAL OF 1,711 IN-PERSON AND TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS AND WORKSHOPS VISITS. CMC ALSO CELEBRATED THE CLINIC'S 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A VIRTUAL EVENT THAT HONORED FOUNDERS AND LONGTIME VOLUNTEERS, FEATURED A SPECIAL RECOGNITION FROM THE MAYOR (ALONG WITH CITY, COUNTY AND STATE PROCLAMATIONS), AND SHARED CLIENT STORIES.
