TO PROVIDE GENERAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLS IN THE SAN CARLOS SCHOOL DISTRICT WHENEVER, IN JUDGEMENT OF THE FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS, FUNDING FROM PUBLIC SOURCES IS INADEQUATE TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN CONSISTENTLY HIGH QUALITY EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY. TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WHICH PROMISE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS IN DISTRICT SCHOOLS.
