FISCAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM -SPONSORING MORE THAN 100 COMMUNITY STEWARDSHIP GROUPS THE ABILITY TO FUNDRAISE, APPLY FOR GRANTS AND DELIVER PROGRAMS. WE PROVIDE ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR RE-GRANTING AND SCHOLARSHIP PROJECTS.
PARK ACTIVATION -IN COLLABORATION WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS, CITY AGENCIES AND FUNDING PARTNERS, WE SUPPORT CAPITAL PROJECTS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND STEWARDSHIP EVENTS THAT ACTIVATE PARKS, OPEN SPACES AND PLAYGROUNDS FOR LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS.
ADVOCACY -IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS, OAKLANDS PARKS AND RECREATION SYSTEM AND ELECTED AND APPOINTED LEADERS FROM THE MAYORS OFFICE DOWN. WE GATHER DATA AND INSIGHTS, HOLD MEETINGS TO HEAR COMMUNITY VOICES AND ADVOCATE BY SENDING LETTERS, MAKING PHONE CALLS AND SPEAKING AT CITY COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS ON BEHALF OF OAKLANDS PEOPLE AND OPEN SPACES.
