THE CLUB SERVES AS STEWARDS OF THE MEMORIAL LIGHTHOUSE BUILT IN 1949 WHERE 276 NAMES ARE INSCRIBED OF THOSE BURIED AT SEA AS WELL AS FISHERMEN AND COAST GUARDSMEN WHO WERE LOST AT SEA. A PUBLIC CEREMONY IS HELD FOR THE COMMUNITY ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TO HONOR THOSE COMMEMORATED AT THE SITE.
