ORGANIZATION WHICH SERVES ADULT WOMEN WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEMS.ITS PROGRAMS INCLUDE A SOCIAL MODEL DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM, 2 RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY HOMES. ARPW IS LICENSED AND CERTIFIED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: RECOVERY AND TREATMENT PLANNING; MONITORED RESIDENTIAL DETOXIFICATION; INDIVIDUAL SESSION; GROUP SESSIONS; AND EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND RELAPSE PREVENTION. THE MISSION OF ARPW IS TO OFFER COMPREHENSIVE ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG PROBLEMS SERVICES BY PROVIDINGOPPORTUNITIES AND SKILLS LEADING TO HEALTHY AND PRODUCTIVE LIFE STYLES. ARPW OFFERS A COMFORTABLE AND HOMELIKE SETTING THAT ENCOURAGES THE WOMEN TO NURTURE AND EMPOWER THEMSELVES AND EACH OTHER. ARPW OFFERSRESIDENTIAL SERICES AT THE TWO (2) LOCATIONS IN CARMICHAEL, CA: ALPHA OAKS (23 BEDS; 5 OF THOSE SET ASIDE FOR DETOXIFICATION) AND CORNERSTONE (11 BEDS). FURTHER DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: DETOXIFICATIONDETOXIFICATION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT ALPHA OAKS, 8400 FAIR OAKS BLVD., CARMICHAEL, CA. LENGTH OF TREATMENT 7-10 DAYS. OUR PROGRAMPROVIDES A TREATMENT PLAN FOR WITHDRAWAL FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS,BASED UPON THE SEVERITY LEVEL OF PARTICIPANTS INTOXICATION. WE ALSOPREPARE PARTICIPANT FOR TRANSITION INTO OTHER TREATMENT SERVICES. OURPROGRAM INCLUDES EDUCATION AND TREATMENT ACTIVITITES THAT ADDRESSALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG USE, UNDERLYING ISSUES, RELATED PROBLEMS,RECOVERY, AND RELAPSE PREVENTION. THE FIRST FEW DAYS IN MONITORED DETOXARE DEVOTED TO THE PARTICIPANTS GETTING PLENTY OF REST AND NUTRITION.192 BED DAYS WERE PROVIDED.RESIDENTIALRESIDENTIAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT ALPHA OAKS, 8400 FAIR OAKS BLVD.,CARMICHAEL, CA AND CORNERSTONE, 6348 & 6350 APPIAN WAY, CARMICHAEL, CA.LENGTHS OF TREAMENT 60-90 DAYS. OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS PROVIDEEDUCATION AND TREATMENT ACTIVITIES THAT ADDRESS AOD USE, UNDERLYINGISSUES, RELATED PROBLEMS, RECOVERY AND RELAPSE PREVENTION. A TREATMENT PLAN IS DEVELOPED USING ASSESSMENT TOOLS DESIGNED WITH THE PARTICIANTSOWN GOALS INCLUDED. OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF 31 HOURS PER WEEKOF TREATMENT. THE WOMEN ARE INTRODUCED TO AND FAMILIARIZED WITHCOMMUNITY RECOVERY RESOURCES. WEEKLY DISCUSSIONS ON THE PHYSIOLOGICAL,PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL EFFECTS OF ADDICTION, AIDS AND HEPATITIS C AREPROVIDED. 7,396 BED DAYS WERE PROVIDED.
