THE WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM PROVIDES OUTREACH, ASSESSMENT, AND INSTALLATION OF ENERGY CONSERVATION MEASURES TO ELIGIBLE HOMEOWNERS AND RENTERS IN SACRAMENTO, SUTTER, AND YUBA COUNTIES. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'S LOW INCOME HOUSING ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LIHEAP) AND THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.

THE ENERGY CRISIS INTERVENTION PROGRAM PROVIDES OUTREACH AND ASSISTANCE IN THE PAYMENT OF HOUSEHOLD ENERGY UTILITY BILLS TO ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS IN GREATER SACRAMENTO, SUTTER, AND YUBA COUNTIES. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA LIHEAP PROGRAM.


THE WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM PROVIDES SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD INSTRUMENTS, REFERRAL SERVICES, AND NUTRITION EDUCATION TO ELIGIBLE PREGNANT, BREASTFEEDING, AND POSTPARTUM WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN UP TO AGE FIVE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY FEDERAL FUNDS AND FALLS UNDER TITLE 7 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS, UNDER WHICH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE IMPLEMENTS THE WIC PROGRAM.
