ESPERANTO-USA OFFERS AN ON-LINE BOOKSTORE/RETBUTIKO WITH MORE THAN A THOUSAND TITLES...BOOKS, MUSIC, AND OTHER FUN STUFF FOR MEMBERS (WHO RECEIVE A 15% DISCOUNT) TO AID IN LEARNING, PROMOTING, OR TEACHING ESPERANTO. APPROXIMATELY 1400 ESPERANTO-RELATED ITEMS WERE SOLD, MOSTLY THROUGH THE ON-LINE STORE. TOTAL REVENUES IN THIS SECTION INCLUDE CATALOG SALES; EXPENSES REFLECT COST OF GOODS SOLD AS WELL AS ALLOCATIONS OF INDIRECT EXPENSES.
ESPERANTO-USA OFFERS MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO LEARN THE LANGUAGE: COLLEGE COURSES AT A UNIVERSITY, FREE POSTAL COURSE, DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CORRESPONDENCE COURSE, YOUTUBE VIDEOS, HELPING OTHER TO TEACH ESPERANTO, AND AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WITH MORE THAN 60 PARTICIPANTS. MEMBERSHIP IN THE INTERNATIONAL ESPERANTO ORGANIZATION UEA CAN BE OBTAINED THROUGH ESPERANTO-USA TO ENCOURAGE USE OF THE LANGUAGE INTERNATIONALLY. SUBSCRIPTIONS TO ESPERANTO MAGAZINES CAN BE OBTAINED THROUGH ESPERANTO-USA.
AN ACTIVE, UP-TO-DATE WEB PAGE PROVIDES BASIC INFORMATION TO THOSE SEEKING TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ESPERANTO, INCLUDING UP-TO-DATE DISCUSSIONS FOR ACTIVE ESPERANTISTS, WITH APPROXIMATELY 150,000 VISITS TO THE PAGE. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RESPONDS TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION VIA E-MAIL, REGULAR MAIL AND PHONE.
