THE CALIFORNIA FORESTRY ASSOCIATION KEEP MEMBERS - WHO ARE PRIVATE LANDOWNERS, FOREST MANAGERS, AND PRODUCERS OF WOOD PRODUCTS - INFORMED OF RULES, REGULATIONS, LITIGATION, AND LEGISLATION WHICH IMPACTS THE USE OF TIMBER PRODUCTS AND TIMBER SALES. THE CALIFORNIA FORESTRY ASSOCIATION, THROUGH ANNUAL STRATEGIC PLANNING, DEVELOPS A PLATFORM AND WORKPLAN THAT SERVES AS INTERNAL GUIDANCE FOR LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ACTION FOR YEAR GIVEN YEAR.
THE REGULATORY AFFAIRS PROGRAM DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS PROACTIVE REGULATORY POLICY AND STRATEGIES.
