WESTERN FAIRS ASSOCIATION PROMOTES THE ONGOING PROSPERITY OF FAIRS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PROGRAMS AND AN ANNUAL FAIR INDUSTRY CONVENTION.THE 2021 CONVENTION WAS CONVERTED TO A VIRUAL VENUE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE ATTENDANTS INCLUDED DELEGATES, BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF AND OFFERED A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING PROGRAMS. COORDINATED A GOVERNMENTAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM FOR CALIFORNIA FAIRS ALL OF WHOM ARE GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES.CONTINUED A STRONG EDUCATIONAL PUBLICATIONS PROGRAM INCLUDING A QUARTERLY MAGAZINE, MONTHLY NEWS LETTERS, AND A WEBSITE AS WELL AS AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY.WFA AND THE CALIFORNIA FAIR SERVICE AUTHORITY CONTINUED A CONFERENCE OF CA FAIRS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION AND NETWORKING.
