DURING 2021 AZPRA IMPLEMENTED A NEW MEMBERSHIP FEE STRUCTURE, HELD A SUCCEESSFUL IN-PERSON CONFERENCE THE FIRST IN-PERSON EVENT SINCE THE PANDEMIC, AND NEW TEAM LEARNING COMMUNITIES. THE TEAM LEARNING COMMUNITIES ENCOURAGE COLLABORATION, ENGAGEMENT, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR UNIQUE JOB FUNCTIONS IN THE PARKS AND RECREATION PROFESSION. SO FAR, WE HAVE 13 NEW TEAMS WITH LEADERS FOR EACH. WE OFFERED 102 VIRTUAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WHICH INCLUDED 8 VIRTUAL CERTIFICATION COURSES. WE CREATED NEW YEAR-ROUND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR VENDOR PARTNERS AND INCREASED OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT THEREBY DOUBLING OUR FOLLOWERS.
