DURING THE TAX YEAR, THE ASANTE FOUNDATION'S LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT IS RAISING OVER $16 MILLION IN DONATIONS TO BENEFIT VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND CAPITAL PROJECTS THROUGHOUT ASANTE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS OVER $4.5 MILLION WAS DONATED FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE PAVILION, AND OVER $8.3 MILLION WAS DONATED TO SUPPORT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CANCER CENTER.THE ASANTE FOUNDATION ALSO HELPS SUPPORT NUMEROUS CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS AT ROGUE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (RRMC), A 378 LICENSED BED HOSPITAL LOCATED IN MEDFORD, OREGON. THIS INCLUDES DONATIONS OF $733,000 TO THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAMS. ROUGHLY $67,000 WAS DONATED TO SUPPORT THE FRANCIS CHENEY FAMILY PLACE WHICH OFFERS PATIENTS THAT HAVE TO TRAVEL LONG DISTANCES LOW OR NO COST HOUSING WHILE RECEIVING TREATMENT(S). OTHER DONATIONS HELP SUPPORT THE WOMEN'S IMAGING CENTER, THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, THE MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT, FAMILY HOUSE, NURSE EDUCATION, THE DUBS CANCER CENTER AND MANY MORE.
THE ASANTE FOUNDATION'S SECOND LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT IS RAISING $1,307,925 IN DONATIONS TO HELP SUPPORT VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND CAPITAL PROJECTS AT THREE RIVERS MEDICAL CENTER (TRMC), A 125 LICENSED BED HOSPITAL LOCATED IN GRANTS PASS, OREGON.OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS, $95,000 WAS DONATED FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, AND OVER $457,000 FOR A NEW CANCER CENTER.IN ADDITION TO CAPITAL PROJECTS, GENEROUS DONATIONS OF NEARLY $17,00 WERE MADE FOR FREE MAMMOGRAMS AND BREAST CANCER EDUCATION FOR UNINSURED WOMEN IN THE AREA. OTHER DEPARTMENTS THAT BENEFITED FROM FOUNDATION DONATIONS INCLUDE THE IMAGING DEPARTMENT, DIABETES EDUCATION, FAMILY BIRTH AND MANY MORE.
THE ASANTE FOUNDATION'S THIRD LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT IS RAISING $698,195 IN DONATIONS TO HELP SUPPORT VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND CAPITAL PROJECTS AT ASHLAND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, ASANTE PHYSICIAN PARTNERS AND THE NURSING EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE.DURING THE TAX YEAR THE FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTED OVER $233,000 FOR RENOVATION PROJECTS AT THE HOSPITAL. THEY ALSO CONTRIBUTED $62,750 TO THE SCHOOL NURSE PROGRAM IN ASHLAND. IN ADDITION ALMOST $150,000 WAS RAISED TO SUPPORT COVID-19 NEEDS FOR THE SYSTEM. THE ASANTE FOUNDATION'S ON-GOING MISSION IS TO CONTINUALLY ASSESS THE NEEDS OF THE HOSPITALS IT SUPPORTS, AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE. OVER THE YEARS, THE FOUNDATION HAS CONTRIBUTED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO HELP ENHANCE IMPORTANT CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS OF THE HOSPITALS AND HELP PURCHASE NEEDED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. IT HAS ALSO MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO MAJOR BUILDING PROJECTS AT ROGUE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER AND THREE RIVERS MEDICAL CENTER.
