TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER THE IDEAL OF SERVICE AS A BASIS OF WORTHY ENTERPRISE AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACQUAINTANCE AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE; HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS; THE RECOGNITION OF THE WORTHINESS OF ALL USEFUL OCCUPATIONS; AND THE DIGNIFYING BY EACH ROTARIAN'S OCCUPATION AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE SOCIETY; THE APPLICATION OF THE IDEAL OF SERVICE IN EACH ROTARIAN'S PERSONAL, BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LIFE AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL AND PEACE THROUGH A WORLD FELLOWSHIP OF BUSINESS AND PROFESIONAL PERSONS UNITED IN THE IDEAL OF SERVICE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT AND GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE SUPPORT. ROTARY SPONSORS ONE OR TWO INCOMING FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS AND ONE OR TWO OUTGOING EXCHANGE STUDENTS EACH YEAR.


SERVICE THROUGH COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING BY ORGANIZING AND RUNNING THE KLAMATH COUNTY FAIR AUCTION. THIS SERVES ALL OF KLAMATH COUNTY AND THE 4H AND FFA YOUTH.


PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE FOR EACH ROTARIAN AND PROVIDING THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL AND PEACE THROUGH WEEKLY MEETINGS AND SUPPORT OF LOCAL PROJECTS SUCH AS ROTARY FIRST HARVEST WHICH FEEDS THE HUNGRY BY GROWING THEIR OWN FOOD WITH THE HELP OF ROTARY VOLUNTEERS.
