THE MISSION OF THE CORPORATION: CCAE THEATRICALS CELEBRATES THE HUMAN CONNECTION THROUGH THEATRE AND EDUCATION BY SHARING STORIES THAT ILLUMINATE THE INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCE AND CULTIVATE A COLLECTIVE VOICE.

PRESENT RESIDENT MUSICAL OR OTHER PRODUCTION DURING 2023, THE ARTISTIC STAFF BEGAN AUDITIONS FOR ACTORS FOR THE FEBRUARY 2024 PRESENTATION OF THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME. PRIOR TO THE AUDITIONS, THE ARTISTIC, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT STAFF SECURED THE OTHER STAFFING, EQUIPMENT, COMMUNITY PARTNERS REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT ITS MISSION. THE OPERATIONAL STAFF EMPLOYED AND REVIEWED THE BUDGET WHILE WORKING WITH THE PARTIES WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR PHILANTHROPY, TICKET SALES AND MARKETING.


PRESENT SPOTLIGHT SHOWS -- SPOTLIGHT SHOWS ARE 2-4 DAY PRESENTATIONS FEATURING A MUSICAL GENRE. IN AUGUST OF 2023, THE ORGANIZATION PRESENTED PIANO MEN, AND BIG BAND CHRISTMAS. THEY ALSO BEGAN PREPARATIONS FOR PRESENTING RISING STARS ON JANUARY 14, 2024. THIS SHOW HIGHLIGHTS YOUNG RISING TALENTS PERFORMING AN ASSORTMENT OF MUSICAL PIECES AND IS MEANT TO INTRODUCE THESE YOUNG PEOPLE TO AN AUDIENCE WHO CAN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT UP AND COMING PERFORMERS. THE ARTISTIC TEAM ALSO BEGAN PREPARATIONS FOR MOTOWN SCHEDULED FOR MARCH OF 2024.


THEATRICALS ALSO PRESENTS CABARETS WHICH ARE USUALLY HELD OUTDOORS AND SET UP AS THOUGH SOMEONE WAS IN A ENTERTAINMENT LOUNGE-TYPE SETTING. EACH CABARET FEATURES FIVE ARTISTS SINGING THE SONGS OF WELL-KNOWN PERFORMERS. DURING 2023, THEATRICALS PRESENTED 3 CABARETS, FEATURING THE SONGS OF QUEEN, COLE PORTER AND THE BEST OF THE NINE'S
