IT IS THE MISSION OF THE OREGON BLAZE FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TO BE DEDICATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG WOMEN THROUGH COMPETITIVE SOFTBALL. WE EMPHASIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER AND FOR THE GAME ITSELF. WE ARE SUCCESSFUL IF WE CAN COMPETE WITH CLASS AND TEACH OUR PLAYERS VALUABLE LIFE LESSONS ALONG THE WAY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL AND EXPOSURE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS TO PROVIDE THE OREGON BLAZE FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PLAYERS THE BEST OPPORTUNITY. 11 TEAMS TRAVELED TO 8 STATE/NATIONAL AND 17 EXPOSURE TOURNAMENTS.


PROVIDE TRAINING AND CLINICS TO IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF EVERY SOFTBALL PLAYER PARTICIPATING IN OREGON BLAZE FASTPITCH SOFTBALL.


HOST TWO TOURNAMENTS AND PARTICIPATE IN OTHER LOCAL SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS AT EACH AGE GROUP TO ALLOW OREGON BLAZE FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PLAYERS AS WELL AS OTHER LOCAL TEAMS TO COMPETE AND IMPROVE. THIS INCLUDED 850 PLAYERS AND 350 PARTICIPATING TEAMS INCLUDING 11 BLAZE TEAMS IN 64 LOCAL AND NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS.
