DIRECT PATIENT SUPPORT - BREAST FRIENDS PROVIDE ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS AS THEY GO THROUGH THEIR CANCER JOURNEY. NO MATTER WHAT STAGE OF THE JOURNEY A WOMAN IS ON, OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE SUPPORT, HOPE, AND INSPIRATION. THE WARRIOR WOMEN WORKSHOPS ARE EDUCATIONAL AND INSPIRATIONAL. WE OFFERED BOTH VIRTUAL SUPPORT AND IN PERSON SUPPORT BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS WHO ARE WALKING THE SAME JOURNEY.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH - BREAST FRIENDS PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES AND INFORMATION TO HOSPITALS, CLINICS AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY AND INCREASE OUR AWARENESS THROUGH COMMUNITY EVENTS. OUR WEEKLY INTERNET RADIO SHOW FEATURES A VARIETY OF TOPICS RELATED TO HELPING EACH WOMAN AT HER STAGE OF DIAGNOSIS. THE SHOWS ARE EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY SUPPORT - BREAST FRIENDS PROVIDE ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS' FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO ENABLE THEM TO BE BETTER SUPPORTERS TO THE FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER GOING THROUGH THE CANCER JOURNEY.
