AFHIH SUPPORTS & PROMOTES HAND IN HAND IN ITS WORK CREATING PARTNERSHIP & SHARED SOCIETY BETWEEN JEWISH & ARAB CITIZENS OF ISRAEL. ITS IMPACT EXPANDS TO OVER 10,000 CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS ACROSS ISRAEL WHERE ITS MODEL OF INTEGRATED SCHOOLS AND SHARED COMMUNITIES CONTINUES TO GROW.

HAND IN HAND OPENED A NEW 6TH GRADE CLASS IN ITS YOUNGEST SCHOOL, AT BEIT BERL, THEREBY ACHIEVING FULL PRESCHOOL-6TH GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STRUCTURE. THE BEIT BERL SCHOOL ALSO OPENED A NEW MUSIC CENTER AND MUSIC PROGRAM AT THE SCHOOL. AT HAND IN HAND'S SCHOOL IN HAIFA, IN NORTHERN ISRAEL, WE COMMENCED OUR FIRST JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM WITH A NEW 7TH GRADE CLASS; AND IN THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR WE NOW HAVE A 7TH-8TH GRADE PROGRAM. THE HAND IN HAND SCHOOL IN THE GALILEE WON PRIZE AS BEST SCHOOL IN THE NORTHERN DISTRICT, CHOSEN OUT OF APPROXIMATELY 200 SCHOOLS. THE HAND IN HAND FLAGSHIP SCHOOL IN JERUSALEM WAS CHOSEN AS ONE OF FIVE SCHOOLS AROUND THE WORLD AS BEST SCHOOL FOR DIVERSITY. HAND IN HAND RAN ITS SECOND YEAR OF ITS UNIVERSITY PROGRAM AT HEBREW UNIVERSITY IN JERUSALEM, THERE HELPING TO EXPAND ITS PROGRAMMING BEYOND THE SCHOOLS THEMSELVES.
IN THE U.S. HAND IN HAND CO-FOUNDER LEE GORDON GAVE DOZENS OF TALKS AND LECTURES AROUND THE COUNTRY TO SYNAGOGUES AND CHURCHES, AND OTHER FORUMS, HELPING TO EDUCATION A GROWING NUMBER OF PEOPLE ABOUT HAND IN HAND'S MODEL. IN ADDITION, HE SPOKE IN 12 HIGH SCHOOLS TO HELP BUILD AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS ABOUT HAND IN HAND'S IMPACT.
