IS A 501 (C) 3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, FORMED IN 1982 AND IS AFFILIATED WITH NAMI NATIONAL AND NAMI FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, SUPPORT AND PUBLIC AWARENESS SO THAT ALL INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS CAN BUILD BETTER LIVES.

NAMI BROWARD COUNTY REACHED OVER 6,403 PEOPLE IN 2023. -7 GUEST SPEAKERS PRESENTED MENTAL HEALTH TOPICS TO THE COMMUNITY -9 PRESENTATIONS BY PEERS - IN OUR OWN VOICE -STAFF PRESENTED, ORGANIZED, PARTICIPATED IN 34 COMMUNITY OUTREACH PRESENTATIONS AND EVENTS -PRESENTED 7 ENDING THE SILENCE SESSIONS TO BROWARD COUNTY STUDENTS AND FACULTIES -CONDUCTED 2 MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID AND 2 GUARDIAN ADVOCATE TRAININGS -PROVIDED 512 HOURS OF SUPPORT WITH FAMILY-TO-FAMILY PROGRAM, AND 512 HOURS OF SUPPORT THROUGH PEER-TO-PEER CLASSES -PROVIDED 54 SESSIONS OF FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS 372 SESSIONS OF CONNECTION RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUPS AND FIFTY-TWO SESSIONS OF ONLINE - IN THE ROOM SUPPORT, PLUS 15 SESSIONS OF H.O.P.E.
