NWTCA'S OBJECTIVE IS TO PRESERVE THE TIBETAN CULTURE AND SHARE IT WITH THE GREATER COMMUNITY OF PORTLAND METRO AREA AND TO PROVIDE A CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL HOME FOR TIBETANS LIVING IN OREGON AND SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON.

Part 3 - Line 4a

SUNDAY SCHOOL:SUNDAY CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AGES KINDERGARTEN-HIGH SCHOOL, LESSONS ARE GIVEN IN:1) TIBETAN LANGUAGE: READING, WRITING, AND SPEAKING; 2) TRADITIONAL MUSIC: INSTRUMENT, SONG AND DANCE; 3) TRADITIONAL HERITAGE: RELIGION AND HISTORY.


CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS: EVERY SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS, BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGIOUS CLASS ONCE OR TWICE EVERY WEEK, OBSERVE ALL RELIGIOUS DAYS AND CEREMONIES. ALSO, ORGANIZED CULTURAL PROGRAMS FOR EVENTS AND FESTIVALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
