THROUGH WILDLIFE REHABILITATION AND PUBLIC EDUCATION, CASCADES RAPTOR CENTER FOSTERS A CONNECTION BETWEEN PEOPLE AND BIRDS OF PREY. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP THE HUMAN PART OF THE NATURAL COMMUNITY LEARN TO VALUE, UNDERSTAND, AND HONOR THE ROLE OF WILDLIFE IN PRESERVING THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.

PUBLIC NATURE EDUCATION & THE RESCUE, REHABILITATION, & RELEASE OF WILDLIFE ARE THE TWO PRIMARY MEANS BY WHICH THE MISSION OF CASCADES RAPTOR CENTER IS ACCOMPLISHED. WITH OVER 40 BIRDS OF 24 SPECIES ON DISPLAY, OUR NATURE CENTER HAS AN UNPARALLELED ABILITY TO ENGAGE VISITORS OF ALL AGES THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION & TO ENHANCE APPRECIATION, RESPECT & STEWARDSHIP OF THE NATURAL WORLD. OUR HOTLINE ASSISTS THE PUBLIC WITH WILDLIFE SITUATIONS & HELPS PREVENT WILDLIFE FROM BEING INJURED OR ORPHANED. REHABILITATION & RELEASE OF ORPHANED, SICK & INJURED BIRDS, PRIMARILY BIRDS OF PREY,USING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF MEDICAL TREATMENT & CARE, & THE BEST FACILITIES POSSIBLE, HAS ALLOWED US TO CARE FOR THOUSANDS OF BIRDS & GIVE EACH FINDER THE SENSE THAT THEIR INTERVENTION WAS APPROPRIATE.
