THE ANTIQUE AND COLLECTOR CAR/BOAT SHOW PROVIDES A DAY IN AUGUST FOR OWNERS OF CARS AND BBOATS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY THEIR EARLY 1900 THROUGH 2000 VEHICLES AND BOATS IN A SUITABLE LOCATION IN LAKE OSWEGO. THE EVENT IS OPEN, FREE OF CHARGE, TO THE PUBLIC. THE VARIETY OF CARS AND BOATS CAN SPAN OVER 100 YEARS. THE HISTORIC HOMES TOUR IS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE THE RETENTION OF EARLY 1900 HOMES TO RETAIN THE CHARM OF LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON'S PAST. EMPHASIS HAS BEEN ON HOMES BUILT BY LOCAL ARCHITECTS. THE TOUR HELPS PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF SUCH HOMES. RENTAL OF HISTORIC BUILDING TO OTHER NON-PROFITS AND TO MEMBERS FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS TO SHOWCASE THE HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROPERTY.
